Microsoft Named BI & Analytics Leader by Gartner, 12th Straight Year

The last time Microsoft wasn’t a leader in Analytics and Business Intelligence on Gartner’s Magic Quadrant, the Cleveland Browns had their most recent winning record. All the way back in 2007. While the Browns show serious promise next year (full disclosure: this writer is a Believeland fan) and many think they might even make the Playoffs, don’t expect Microsoft to drop off the Magic Quadrant any time soon.

Once again, Microsoft is not only a leader for the 12th year in a row, but has the best ability to execute and most complete vision by far. Power BI continues to lead the way, available both in the cloud (SaaS, Azure) and on-premises (Power BI Report Server).

The full report from Gartner is available here.
