Information Technology Support Specialist (Monterrey, Mexico)
Microsoft Dynamics Gold Partner, Ellipse Solutions, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to upkeep and improve Microsoft cloud-based infrastructure for internal use and for the global customer base using Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, Teams, Office 365 and other related solutions. Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in provisioning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the system hardware and software, and related infrastructure is required.
- Prior exposure to Microsoft Azure technologies and products, including Azure SQL, Azure Active Directory, Power BI, Power Apps, Office 365, and SharePoint is a big plus.
- Fundamental understanding of relational databases and basic DBA skills, specifically for Microsoft SQL Server is beneficial.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related fields is preferred.
- Strong English communications skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the global infrastructure team a successful candidate will be involved in the following activities:
- Maintenance of Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Active Directory, SharePoint, and other related tools.
- Working with internal infrastructure, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance of the software and hardware components.
- Administration of Power Platform for the development of business solutions.
- Troubleshooting of hardware and software issues reported by customers and internal personnel.
- Management of licensing and subscriptions policies for Microsoft products and services.
- Participation in continuous education including obtaining Microsoft products and technology certifications identified by the company.
