Dynamics 365 Data Teams Up

If there’s one constant, major positive that is so steadfast it almost gets taken for granted when touting Dynamics 365, it’s the Microsoft ecosystem as a whole. When it comes to “integrations” from competing ERP and CRM  solutions to Office 365 and other Microsoft technologies, it is hard for them to match the level of amalgamation achieved by Dynamics 365. The familiarity across all Microsoft products is felt in everything from user experience to simple functionality that is accomplished in through the same keystrokes, and the lines between apps and solutions are getting blurrier every day.

That is why Microsoft announcing the availability of Dynamics 365 data in Teams at Inspire this year shouldn’t be all that surprising. Of course, that doesn’t mean we aren’t totally geeked out about it just like everyone else. And to make it happen at no additional cost? Alright, we’re in!

If you haven’t already, we would encourage anyone interested to read Jared Spataro’s (Corporate Vice President for Microsoft 365) blog walking through some of the new capabilities, such as:

  • Viewing and editing Dynamics 365 records in Teams
  • Adding Teams meetings to appointments and capturing notes
  • Setting up automated notifications for stakeholders to track changes as they happen

With all of these cool new features, it’s a great time to be on “Team” Microsoft.
